To celebrate Discovery Channel’s 30tieth birthday, Discovery Italy’s channel aired exclusively on Sky, we took over the Darsena, with blu t-shirts and a Treasure Hunt.

The flying turtles, the Drunk Riace bronzes, the Dexterlanders, the Hotbut nottoomuch, and the ones from the gas station are only 5 of the 47 extravagant teams that flocked Discovery Italy and Sky’s spaces. It was the team Dirty world (Ivan, Umberto, Loris and Vittorio- all young workers living in Milan) that got to the “booty” first: five golden D shaped jewels made by a goldsmith purposely for the occasion.

Hundreds took up the challenge: 2 hours to accumulate points and find the key to the treasure before the others.
The unusual treasure hunt, made possible thanks to an App realized on purpose, took inspiration from topics that have made the canal so grand and the evolution it underwent over the centuries.

A part from the people who had signed up to the treasure hunt, numerous passersby flocked to Discovery Italy’s space which had been set up for the event with special animation, music , and gadgets for everybody.
